We are home to Ati Divers, proud to be Atitlan’s only dive shop since 1996. We offer PADI courses from beginner (Open Water) all the way through Divemaster, and especially popular is our Altitude Specialty Course which only takes a day to complete. If you’re already certified, let us take you on a fun dive where you’ll see massive volcanic rock formations, sunken trees, and loads of lake fish. When you plunge your hands into hot volcanic mud at the “Hot Spots” you’ll know you’re diving someplace very different. More info

We offer yoga classes on our patio overlooking the lake and volcanoes. A one-and-a-half hour class with our fantastic instructor is only Q40 (around $5) per person. What a wonderful way to start your day at the lake.  All levels are welcome, and even if you have never tried yoga before this is a great way to start. Our instructors are trained in different types of yoga, ranging from tantra to vinyasa, and if you need to sleep in, they are available for private classes (prices vary).

Kayak & Stand-Up Paddle Board

Rent a kayak for just Q50 (around $7) an hour from our friends at Los Elementos just down the road in Santa Cruz. Paddle to neighboring villages and enjoy the serenity of the journey. Best in the morning to avoid the waves and wind! If a stand-up paddle board is more your speed, you can enjoy an incredible 3+ hour tour to different parts of the lake including a trip to the famous Panajachel Nature Reserve. Beginners welcome as the tours include a SUP lesson and a photo package! For more details, availability, and pricing please visit our friends over at SUP Atitlan.

 Weaving, Beading, and Cooking Classes

Learn to backstrap weave with a local indigenous family from the village of Santa Cruz. This is a unique opportunity that offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the local culture and polish off their Spanish skills. Leave with a souvenir and memories of a beautiful experience.

Learn to cook Traditional Guatemalan dishes like Pepian and Tortillas or bead your own friendship bracelet with local artisans while enjoying one of the best views of Lake Atitlan at Café Sabor Cruceño. Both the Café and classes are run by graduates of a local trade school and culinary program. Café Sabor Cruceño

Enjoy lunch and a private tour of Amigos de Santa Cruz, a local nonprofit located in the main village, about a 10 minute walk up the hill or a short tuk-tuk ride. Ideal for a half-day activity including a tour of the trade school and artisan store, lunch at the beautiful restaurant and/or a class. Open Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm. All proceeds support Amigos de Santa Cruz. Amigos de Santa Cruz

Enjoy a relaxing massage from our certified therapists. We have a small team of masseuses capable of tackling any and all problems. Whether you’re looking for shiatsu, reiki, acupuncture, deep tissue, or even a Mayan astrology reading, we got it all! Pamper yourself!

 Spanish Classes

Why sit in a classroom when you can study Spanish lakeside with volcano views?! We offer one-on-one classes with friendly qualified instructors.  A weekly package costs $160 including 7 nights dorm accommodation (room upgrade available), 6 days of food allowance in our restaurant worth Q75 per day, and 20 hours of one-on-one Spanish classes. Not ready to commit to a week? Hourly classes are available for Q40 (just over $5!).
